Flip-flop

More random bits of information rather than a real post.

1. I found out today (tonight) that my older daughter talks in her sleep and my younger daughter sleepwalks.

2. We leave tomorrow for Hawaii. This will be my first time there and I'm pretty excited.

3. Crocs (the shoes) do not come in a size 4 infant. But Carter's makes an even cuter version for just ten bucks.

4. I've just finished reading Dave Eggars book and I'm sorry to say that I just didn't get into it. (Don't hate me.) So to get refresh my reading palette I'm diving into some new Willa Cather tonight.

5. One of my favorite web sites is realtor.com. I love to house shop even in towns I know I'll never live just too see what type of house I could have and think about how I would decorate.

6. I've been at extremes all day. This morning I was tired and very low. Then in the afternoon I was raging and angry for absolutely no reason (other than stress). And now I'm strangely twitterpated with anticipation despite having a bit of a cold and not being in bed asleep yet.

7. I'm still not used to the California weather. I like the rain, but I'm not sure what to think of the people wearing parkas when it's 55 degrees outside.

8. That's about it. Sorry for the boring post.

I just don't think that I could love any of his books as much as "Heartbreaking Work..." By far my favorite book (And introduced to me by the lovely Michelle)

YOU DIDN"T MENTION YOU WERE LEAVING TOMORROW!!!

OMG!

Please have a safe, happy trip, Little Guy. Love your guts.

Have a great trip PBI. Look forward to some great posts when you get back.

How long are you in Hawaii for? We are heading over from Sydney on the 13th. So if you're still there and you happen to see someone looking at you strangely... its just your Hunters Hill Lurker, now turned stalker :-).

i'm a fan of eggers, as well, loralee. LOVED heartbreaking work, but haven't read any of his other works, beyond his short stories that get into the new yorker every now and again. need to check out the others...

although carter's isn't sold in australia, i appreciated your croc-like shoe tip, amy. crocs remind me of jellies, which were all the rage when i was in elementary school. remember those? got my pair at payless for a fraction of what others were paying...

have a great time in hawaii.
