I don't really have much to blog about right now--pretty much my life is full of trivial things like:
1. Do I open the package of Oreo's I bought to send to a friend in France or not? Can I resist the creamy smooth filling?
2. Is the dollhouse I've chosen for Santa to bring my girls extravagant? Will the little pieces drive me crazy? Will we be able to get it back from the grandparent's house in one piece?
3. Why on earth am I on such an expensive Ebay binge? I've won 12 auctions in the past month or two and am currently bidding on another 7-10 (at this rate it's hard to keep track of what packages are coming).
4. How on earth are we going to fix our house in Virginia while living here?
5. Should I avoid bringing peanut butter sandwiches to the get together at the park I've arranged with other new-to-the-area moms since one of the kids has a peanut allergy, or will it not be a problem?
6. What am I going to do if it rains? I offered to have all moms and their kids over to my tiny, undecorated apartment and it's really the last place I want to invite people I barely know. I prefer the neutral territory of the park.
7. Why is the weather here so freakishly warm? I need to wear my sweaters!
8. Am I going to finish making my collection of "Three Little Kittens" ornaments in time for Christmas?
9. Will my kids go to bed so I can watch Lost on Wednesday?
Trivial, petty, idiotic. These are the things that are going through my mind.

Oreo Update:
I made it till 11:35 in my Oreo challenge. Then Cleo woke up screaming, and after putting her back to bed--THREE times, I needed the power of the Oreo to continue living.
1- Oreo filling is to barf! Just eat a tub of crisco mixed with sugar.
3- I fear becoming an e-bay addict so I never look.
6- cancel & reschedual.
7- sweaters are delicious!
Update- "the power of the Oreo" haha
Karen--great idea! I will creat my own Oreo filling using Crisco and Sugar! Ha Ha Ha! The sugar high will never end!
#5 is not trivial. Peanut allergies can be deadly. The risk of cross contaimination of other food is a serious risk. Leave peanuts, peanut butter, and other products that may contain peanuts off of the menu when an allergic child is involved.
