I'm not your Hunters Hill reader, and I'm not so much a lurker as a devotee, but here I am, outed in Melbourne, Victoria. I suspect Hunters Hill may be someone I forwarded your link to. I love your blog so much that several months ago, I sent your URL to several of my friends here. My sister-in-law lives in Sydney... She may be Hunters Hill, but I'll let her out herself.
I logged on to PBI about the time you posted the entry about meeting Gigi. It was brilliant, brought tears to my eyes and I've thought several times since that you ought to write a book about the experience. You would do it very well.
And to all of Amy's other devoted readers, I became friends with Amy thru John, back in the day when we were all undergrads at USU. I grew up in Logan, and John's parents and my parents are in a book group together.
In fact, Amy and I were in a journalism class together, and when Amy interviewed John at the Book Table for a story, he was so taken by her he asked me to get her full name so he could follow up on the conversation...
