Cleo has decided our family needs a boy. She's not satisfied that her father is a boy, she wants a kid boy. The following is our conversation from last night:
Cleo: Our family needs a boy.
Me: But Daddy is a boy.
Cleo: Daddy's not a boy he's a worker. We need a boy.
Me: Where should we get a boy?
Cleo: Halle. (Halle is her 2 year old cousin.)
Me: But Halle is a girl.
Cleo: No, I mean Halle's boy.
Me: Do you mean Halle's brother Trevor?
Cleo: Yea, Halle's brother Trevor can be our boy.
Me: But Trevor already has a family.
Cleo: Well, we can just call him and ask him if we wants to be in our family and when we go to Gramsy's house we can get him.
Me: Where will he sleep?
Cleo: In my princess bed.
Me: What if he doesn't fit?
Cleo: Then he can sleep under my bed and be a monster!
JL and I just cracked up over this whole conversation.

HA HA HA HA HA HA!
I do feel for John...A lone isle of testosterone afloat in a sea of estrogen...
I can sympathize, only in the reverse, and well...at least this way I get to be the household Princess. I totally need to tell Jonathan I am being gypped by not having a Princess Bed.
Grrr....
Kids are so great! But seriously are you getting a boy?
No boys in the immediate future, or girls for that matter.
Just lots of kleenex.
