It's a witchy little juvenile/young adult book I read in a day or two and enjoyed enough that I'll probably seek out book number two in the series. My only struggle with the book was that I really, really didn't like the main character, but then I realized I was putting my reading emphasis on the wrong person, and the story came across much better. It's worth a quick read if you're wandering the shelves looking for something easy. I give it a B.

I love Diana Wynn Jones. My favorite is Howl's MOving Castle.
I'll have to try that one. I'm ALWAYS looking for a new read.
